Ella is pleased to introduce 1 day bespoke workshops for either beginner or more advanced level of pewtersmithing.

Whether you want to gain a full overview of pewtersmithing skills to get you started, you want to hone in on a particular aspect of pewter craft or you have a design you particularly want to have a bash at – Ella can design a workshop for you.

With over 13 years experience and multiple awards, Ella can lead you through a whole host of traditional pewter work skills such as: sheet metal work such as cutting, forming and soldering hand tool techniques jewellery making (including soldering silver findings to pewter) riveting casting (cuttlefish, sand or rubber mould making – please be aware rubber mould making involves an overnight cure and your mould will be sent after the workshop polishing pewter raising a 3D shape from a flat sheet of metal hammer work taking a design concept through to production and much much more.

With 1-2-1 guidance through out the day, specialist knowledge and information on where to source your materials, this one day workshop is designed to expand your skills, build confidence to continue the skills at home and give you the knowledge you need to realise your designs.
