A rare opportunity to join Manchester Craft & Design Centre’s community of independent makers, artists and creative businesses in the heart of the Northern Quarter.
For over 40 years, the Centre has been home to jewellers, ceramicists, textile artists, illustrators, designers and other creative practitioners working across a wide range of disciplines. Our studios provide an inspiring environment in which to make, create and grow your practice, surrounded by a supportive network of fellow makers.
We currently have one first-floor studio space available:
Studio 24

£619/month including service charge and broadband
Depending on your practice, this space could work brilliantly as a shared studio. Sharing between two or three people can make the monthly cost much more affordable, and we’re very open to discussing different setups to find an arrangement that works for you.
Studios are expected to be open Monday to Saturday, 10am – 5.30pm, and on the second Sunday of each month, 11am – 5pm. Sharing with other makers can help make covering these opening hours more manageable, while creating opportunities to work alongside others.
