The three artists, specialising in ceramics, textiles and wood have worked with our team here at Manchester Craft and Design Centre as well as experts across the field to develop their creative brands, present their practice and develop new techniques. Throughout, the makers have developed experimental works, tested new techniques and created innovative pieces that we’re excited to showcase.
Thanks to our partners at GNCCF they will also hold a stand at this years Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair. You can learn more about this event here.
Our Hands On bursary was developed in recognition of the need for Manchester Craft and Design Centre to work towards greater inclusivity, create access to opportunities for more makers in Manchester and grow our community.
The exhibition is free to visit, visit here for access information.
