Stories for Sustainable Futures
Martin Bonney, PhD Candidate at the Royal College of Art London and Lecturer at Manchester Fashion Institute, Manchester Metropolitan University
5th Aug: 10.30am | 7th Aug: 5pm
Calling all makers!
Join us this August for a free sustainability workshop led by Martin Bonney, PhD Candidate at the Royal College of Art London and Lecturer at Manchester Fashion Institute, Manchester Metropolitan University.
Through storytelling, discussion and reflection, you’ll explore sustainability beyond the environmental, considering the social, cultural and economic impact of creative practice. You’ll gain practical tools to help communicate the value of your work, connect with fellow makers and develop new ways of thinking about your practice.
Whether you’re looking to build confidence in talking about your work or simply take some time to reflect alongside other creatives, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn, share ideas and gain fresh perspectives.
Space2, Ground Floor, Manchester Craft & Design Centre
Two sessions available:
• Wednesday 5 August, 10.30am
• Friday 7 August, 5pm
Free to attend. Booking is essential.
