Scrappy Doll Sewing Workshop

Elizabeth Owen

Saturday 15 August | 10am or 2pm

Manchester Craft and Design Centre

Children can bring their imagination to life in this fun sewing workshop with Elizabeth Owen of Sew It Seams.

Using a pre-sewn doll blank, participants will design and personalise their own unique scrappy doll by adding clothing, hairstyles and facial features. Along the way they’ll learn a range of sewing techniques, including basic machine sewing, hand sewing, appliqué and simple embroidery.

With small group sizes and plenty of individual support, this workshop is perfect for beginners and encourages creativity, confidence and learning through making.
