Create a quirky wool space creature in this beginner-friendly needle felting workshop, the perfect fun way to welcome in the new year.
Join this space slug & disco snail felting workshop and discover the joy of sculpting with wool. Guided by textile artist Alisha Hayes from Badger & Bumblebee, you’ll use high-quality local wool sourced from Huddersfield to bring a colourful cosmic creature to life. It doesn’t matter if you’re a complete beginner; this workshop is designed for all skill levels. You’ll be supported through every step of the creative process, so you can relax and focus on making your unique design.
During the workshop, you’ll:
- Explore a wide range of colours and materials to design your space slug or disco snail
- Learn how to felt from a skilled professional
- Enjoy a relaxed and supportive environment to get creative
Working with soft wool to create something with your hands can be incredibly therapeutic. You’ll leave the session with a newfound skill in felting and your very own charming creation to display at home or give as a quirky gift.
