Screen Printed Glass Coasters
Practitioner: Helen Tiffany
Saturday 13th December | 11am - 1.30pm
In this introductory class, learn how to screen print on glass with vitreous enamel and make your own colourful glass coaster.
You will be shown the process of making hand-cut paper stencils to print geometric and repeat patterns. You can use stamps, special scissors or make your own freehand design. Helen will demonstrate how to apply coloured and metallic enamels and add texture to your piece with fused glass detail.
After the session, your pieces will be kiln-fired and have any fixings added. They will be ready within a few weeks for studio collection or posted (at £5), which can be paid for on the day.
