Cyanotype Lampshade Workshop

Various Saturdays, 10.30am - 4.30pm
Spend the day printing your own cyanotype fabric and then making a beautiful 30cm drum lampshade with the results.
Two workshops in one – not only do you learn about the cyanotype process but you also learn how to construct your own lampshade.
Victoria provides all the materials you need but you are more than welcome to bring your own leaves, flowers, feathers etc to create your unique designs.
The fabric used will be lovely quality linen which shows up the texture of the material perfectly when lit.
The day will start with an introduction to the cyanotype process with some practice samples on fabric so that you feel confident with the process. You will then print your fabric for the lampshade. This will dry over lunch and then you will spend the afternoon constructing your lampshade ready to take home with you.
