Anodised Aluminium Jewellery

With Manchester School of Jewellery

Saturday 12th September | 10am - 1pm

Manchester Craft and Design Centre

Join Jewellery School as we celebrate Manchester Jewellery Week with a brand-new course, Anodised Aluminium Jewellery.

This new course will cover different anodising techniques, including how to apply colour and use stamps to create images. Our tutors, with over 30 years combined experience, will guide students through each of the processes. As with all our classes, the pace is slow and relaxed, with students having the opportunity to practice each technique before moving on.

We will be using aluminium, stamps and alcohol markers, with demonstrations given for the different skills, followed by time to apply these skills. Once the skills are refined, each person will make an anodised pendant or pair of earrings which they have designed and personalised from start to finish, and the piece will be theirs to take away.
