A rare opportunity to join Manchester Craft & Design Centre’s community of independent makers, artists and creative businesses in the heart of the Northern Quarter.

For over 40 years, the Centre has been home to jewellers, ceramicists, textile artists, illustrators, designers and other creative practitioners working across a wide range of disciplines. Our studios provide an inspiring environment in which to make, create and grow your practice, surrounded by a supportive network of fellow makers.

We currently have two first-floor studio spaces available:

Studio 24 (Previous Office)

£619/month including service charge and broadband

Studio 26
30.4sqm (327ft²)
Available September 2026
£739/month including service charge and broadband

Both spaces could work brilliantly as shared studios depending on your practice. Shared between two or three people, the monthly cost becomes significantly more affordable, and we’re very open to conversations around different setups and possibilities.

Not quite ready to take on your own studio?

Studio sharing opportunities are also available. Work alongside our friendly studio holders, build partnerships that suit you both, and gain valuable insight into life as a full-time maker. To enquire about sharing, simply change the email subject to “Studio Sharing Opportunities.”
