ÀṢÀ Culture Pop-up
Space 2, Ground Floor
Sunday 9th November, 11am - 5pm
We’re delighted to welcome back ÀṢÀ Culture for their 2nd pop-up here at the Centre. Their gorgeous range of handwoven baskets and homeware has been so popular here, and we’re excited to check out their new stock, which includes table mats, baskets and fans.
ÀṢÀ is the creation of Clare and Yinka. ÀṢÀ pronounced ‘Asha’ phonetically, is a Yoruba word meaning culture. Yinka is Yoruba and from Lagos, Nigeria. Clare is from the UK with over 25 years of experience in the craft industry and is one of our brilliant resident makers.
“Since travelling to Nigeria together, I have become fascinated with the culture and the local and indigenous craft. Our Nigerian and UK lives have woven together into our daily life. So on our last trip in April 2025, we decided to bring home a curated collection of beautiful and skilfully handmade woven products to share with you.”
