Meet the makers and give handmade this Christmas with an inspiring trip to the Northern Quarter’s home of independent shopping.
Launching with a day of music and gin on the 23rd November and then open right up until Christmas Eve, our Victorian covered market is the perfect spot to escape from the crowds and enjoy a winter warmer in the cafe. Come and support local, independent makers this festive season and give handmade this Christmas.

Festive Craftivism with Extinction Rebellion / Saturday 30 November / 11am–4pm
Bring kitchen rolls, crisp packets and newspaper to up-cycle into decorations and wrapping paper that won’t cost the earth. Find out more about Extinction Rebellion and the climate emergency and how you can make Christmas more sustainable.
Kick off December with a bit of fizz at this acrylic painting workshop where you can relax and explore your creative side whilst sipping a glass of bubbly.
Manchester Community Choir / Saturday 7 December / 1.30pm & 2.30pm
Take a trip through the magical world of winter festival songs, from reindeer herding songs from Lapland to 16th century songs of peace from Spain and atmospheric midwinter folk ballads.
