Occasionally, one of our studios becomes available and when this happens, our team go on the hunt for serious talent. We look for people with a great business model, who are excellent at what they do and have a real passion for contemporary craft and design. If the combination of working studio and retail space is right for you (whether you are a sole trader, a couple or a collective) we’d love to hear from you.

Are you looking for a supportive and creative environment to establish your business?  We are excited to announce a new opportunity to have a studio here at Manchester Craft & Design Centre, in a high profile location within the heart of Manchester’s trendy Northern Quarter.

We offer city centre workshop/retail space at competitive rents, and are committed to developing new talent alongside supporting the growth of established enterprises.  As a studio holder at MCDC you will also have the opportunity to sell your work through our new website, and take part in our ambitious programme of professional development events, which are supported by Arts Council England.

Current studio vacancy:

Studio 26 (first floor)

327 square feet / 30.4 square metres

£560.12 per month (£19.85 per square foot)

Available from January 2015

How to apply:

If you have creative flair, a strong head for business planning and ambition then we’d welcome your application. We also welcome joint applications for shared studios. If you would like to share but don’t know who with, please do let us know.
