Kaylee Jenkinson, our former Exhibitions and Events Officer of six years, is a leading Manchester-based champion of independent makers and handmade craft, bringing her passion and knowledge of the subject to all those she supports and the exhibitions she creates. During her time at the Centre she curated an incredibly diverse and inspiring programme of exhibitions, mentored and showcased graduates from Manchester School of Art and Bolton University, as well as engaging in outreach to schools. We’re really proud that Kaylee has been shortlisted for the People’s Culture award for Manchester Culture Awards 2019 and would encourage you all to vote for her! She recently moved on to an exciting new role at Hatch Mcr, where we’re sure she’ll make as huge an impact as she did here.
