Manchester Craft and Design Centre (MCAD) offers a unique space for makers to create, present and sell the best of contemporary craft and design to the public and has done since 1982. We are a not-for-profit company located in the former Victorian fish and poultry market in the creative ‘Northern Quarter’ of Manchester city centre. We also offer supporting services to craftspeople and designers by providing workshop/retail accommodation, exhibition opportunities and professional development events.

MCAD is currently undergoing a period of unprecedented development, and is one of Arts Council England’s National Portfolio Organisations. We have an exciting opportunity for Marketing & Digital Manager to join our busy team.

The Marketing & Digital Manager will have full responsibility to lead on marketing and communications for the Centre. This is a key role, and offers an opportunity to plan and implement campaigns aimed at growing MCAD’s customer base and profile as a unique arts and retail venue in the city. Delivering projects to enhance our audience intelligence, and develop new and existing income streams, will also be important elements of the post.

You will have knowledge and understanding of arts and / or retail marketing, and be educated to degree level in a relevant subject, or have equivalent experience. Excellent communication and project management skills, and a resourceful and entrepreneurial approach will also be invaluable in the role.
