Shibori Workshop

Join us at Manchester Craft and Design Centre for a Shibori workshop with Valery Touchet.
Shibori is an ancient Japanese technique that you can use to revitalise your wardrobe and give items a new lease of life. In this half-day workshop, you will create the Shibori art piece, and then learn how to apply them to your garments using sewing machines. Please bring along the garment(s) that you would like to add your art pieces to. Sewing machines and materials will be provided but feel free to bring your own materials if you prefer as long as they are NOT natural or cotton fabrics, as these are not suitable for this technique.
