Manchester School of Jewellery offers one day and short courses for enthusiastic beginners to skilled makers looking to broaden their knowledge in a variety of jewellery techniques and allied skills. Workshops are held in Space2 on the Ground Floor. There are limited tickets available to allow for social distancing.

WAX CARVING A RING TO BE CAST IN SILVER
Saturday 4th December, 2pm – 5pm

This class teaches you the basics of Wax Carving and is suitable for beginners. We will explain step by step how Lost Wax casting works, and show you the materials and tools needed to carve a ring of your own design. We will show you how to size the ring to fit, examples of different techniques used to carve the ring, and the choices of finishes available. After the class, the ring you have made in Wax will be cast in Sterling Silver and finished to your specifications and posted to you.
