Spinning Ring
Manchester School of Jewellery
Saturday 4th March, SOLD OUT

Join jewellery school for a BRAND NEW day class of crafting. Each student will finish the day with a sterling silver spinning ring that they have designed and handmade. The course covers a multitude of skills; shaping, hammering, texturing and silver soldering. We will also teach students how to saw, file, size rings and finish silver work. Practice will begin using copper, with demonstrations given for the different skills, followed by time to apply these skills. Once the skills are refined, each person will make a sterling silver ring from start to finish, and the ring will be theirs to take away. There will also be the option to make the small spinning band in 9ct or 18ct Gold! (at an additional cost to be paid on the day)
We welcome all skill levels to the class though this is more suited to those that have previously attended a class with us, and students the age of 10 and upwards (a parent or guardian must accompany those under 16)
