SILVER JEWELLERY TASTER SESSION
Saturday 19th November, 10am -1pm or 2pm – 5pm
Join jewellery school for a day of crafting. Each student will finish the day with a sterling silver ring that they have designed and handmade. The course covers a multitude of skills; shaping, hammering, texturing and silver soldering. We will also teach students how to saw, file, size rings and finish silver work. Practice will begin using copper, with demonstrations given for the different skills, followed by time to apply these skills. Once the skills are refined, each person will make a sterling silver ring from start to finish, and the ring will be theirs to take away.
