Join Ella on a 3-hour pewter bangle-making workshop. Create your own design using pattern, texture and traditional jewellery-making skills.
During this workshop, Ella will guide you through the process of adding texture and pattern to sheet pewter, a lead-free metal.
We will use textures and foraged dried foliage to print on the pewter using a traditional metalwork tool called a rolling mill. Please feel free to bring textures to try (less than 5mm in thickness such as lace, dried leaves/petals (fresh green leaves don’t work) and paper stencils work well).
We will then use hammers, forming tools and soldering techniques to create your bangle or cuff style bracelet before polishing so you can proudly wear it home. A fun workshop to create your own unique piece of jewellery.
