Manchester School of Jewellery

Thursday 1st June, 10am - 4.30pm

Manchester Craft and Design Centre

Join jewellery school for a brilliant introductory class covering a multitude of skills; shaping, hammering, stamping, texturing and silver soldering.

Students will learn how to measure, cut and put together chains of different lengths, and demonstrate how to shape and strengthen different styles of earring hooks. Practice will begin using copper, with demonstrations given for the different skills, followed by time to practice and apply these skills. Once the skills are refined, you will design and make a set of sterling silver earrings & necklace to take away.
