Spirit of Manchester: Invitation for quotes to design award trophy

Macc’s annual Spirit of Manchester programme highlights the excellent work of Manchester’s volunteer and community sectors.
Applications are now being taken to design a trophy for the winners. They are looking for a colourful design, incorporating their logo. Recycled or environmentally sourced materials are preferred. 11 would be required in total.
The designer of the award will be acknowledged on our website, within the printed brochure, will receive an invitation to attend the ceremony and will be thanked on the evening by the Chief Executive of Macc. With the potential of up to 300 attendees including representatives from businesses, housing associations, CCG’s as well as members from the voluntary sector invited to attend, there is huge potential for the designer to make contact for future work.

Textile Artist: Freelance Workshop Leader, Pikes Lane Primary School, Bolton

Pikes Lane Primary School (Bolton) and Golborne School (Wigan) are running an exciting Art Project on the 3rd of July 2017 which requires 2 textile artists ( one at each school) to work with approximately 15 pupils at a time to make a felt or cotton banner/s using the theme of diversity and difference as a stimuli.
Fees can be negotiated based on the materials and outcomes proposed.
We are expecting the work to be of high quality so that we can display it in a public forum, so finishing costs can be discussed too if appropriate.

Hayton Castle Fields CIC is looking for three artists-in-residence for an exciting recycling project in Cumbria.
Looking for:
Three artists to complete a residency (min. 5 days, max. 14 days) at Hayton Castle Fields, where they will:
- Complete one or more pieces of art/sculpture which would remain on site in our woodland, using fly tipped materials (on their own or combined with other media).
- Facilitate two community workshops during the residency, where they would teach local people techniques and share ideas to make their own artwork out of fly-tipped materials.
Residencies would need take place in July, August or September 2017 and would need to include a weekend.
