University of Bolton BA (Hons) – Pop Up Shop
University of Bolton BA (Hons) Textile & Surface Design – Pop Up Shop
This collection of contemporary craft products have been designed and produced by a group of under graduate students from the University of Bolton, studying on the BA (hons) Textile/Surface Design degree programme.
The collection has evolved from investigations in the themes, ‘Urban Decay’, ‘Memory Palace’ and ‘The Written Word.’
They produced a series of drawings and paintings which were then developed into designs, colours and concepts, using traditional and digital print processes, hand dyeing, fabric manipulation and embellishment techniques.
The collection is contemporary and eclectic, reflecting the individuals interpretation of the theme investigated.
