Screen Printing on Glass – Layered Landscapes
10am – 12.30pm
Join Helen on this new course to create a unique layered fused glass sculpture which can be used as a free standing piece or tealight shield.
Suited to both beginners and those with experience of glass making or printing, you will learn the principals of screen printing and fused glass. During the session we will work with coloured enamels in a very free way to produce painterly mono prints onto layers of glass. Helen will guide you through different techniques to form stencils to add depth to your work to create a landscape effect.
Everything you need to create your own imagery will be provided on the day but participants are welcome to bring inspiration or photographs along with them to work with. Recreate a view you love!
Your finished piece will be fused and shaped in the kiln to be collected at a later date from the studio (or posted on for an extra charge).
All materials and kiln firings are included in the ticket price and complimentary refreshments will be provided.
Places can be booked here.
