WORKSHOP : December 8, 2019.
Screen Printing on Glass – Decorations
2.30pm – 5pm
Join Helen on this half day workshop to make your own set of festive baubles or decorations to give as presents this Christmas!
This workshop is a great introduction to the principals of screen printing and fused glass in a relaxed setting.
Helen will guide you through the process of making stencils before printing on to glass using coloured and metallic glass powders. On the day you will be shown simple techniques to create geometric or stamped stencils but participants are welcome to bring along their own imagery on the day (it doesn’t have to be festive!)
During the class you will have the opportunity to make a set of three decorations which will be fired in the kiln. Finished pieces will be available to collect at a later date from the studio (around 1 week) or posted on for an extra charge.
All materials and kiln firings are included, no experience necessary. refreshments will be provided.
