WORKSHOP : October 12, 2019.
Screen Printing on Glass – Coasters/Hanging Panel
10am – 12.30pm
Explore the unique process of enamel screen printing on glass and make your own hanging glass panel or set of two coasters.
Suited to both beginners and those with experience of glass making or printing, you will be introduced to the principals of screen printing and fused glass. Helen will guide you through the process of making stencils before printing on to glass using coloured glass enamels and adding decoration with powdered glass.
Everything you need to create simple prints will be provided on the day but participants are welcome to bring inspiration or drawings along to the workshop if you have a specific design in mind.
Finished pieces will be fired in the kiln to be collected at a later date from the studio (or posted on for an extra charge). All materials and kiln firings are included in the ticket price and complimentary refreshments will be provided.
Book you place here.
