Pewter Christmas Decoration Making
2.30pm – 5.30pm / £45 / Booking at www.ellamcintosh.co.uk/workshops
Kickstart your festive period with Ella and get making your very own pewter Christmas decoration!
During this workshop Ella will guide you through the process of adding texture and pattern to sheet pewter, a lead free metal. You’ll be able to use textures and Christmas themed images to imprint on the the pewter using a traditional metalwork tool called a rolling mill.
It’s then on to trying your hand at using hammers and piercing tools to shape your Christmas decoration, before using letter punches to add personalised details and then polishing your piece so you can proudly hang it on your tree or wrap it as a handmade gift.
Suitable for beginners or those with previous silver or jewellery experience.
