NQAD is looking for up to 25 enthusiastic and passionate volunteers, with an interest in the arts and culture scene in Manchester, to help us run this years first ever Northern Quarter After Dark Festival as part of the larger Manchester After Hours Festival. This is an opportunity to be apart of the city most talked about evenings, see some of the most exciting events in some of the coolest venues in the region and gain some valuable experience too.
Your role will be:
Attend the NQAD Volunteers briefing meeting on Tuesday 13th May at 6pm, meet the organisers, venues and find out more about the evening.
Be a festival advocate on Thursday 15th May (from 6pm until 10pm)
Welcome, direct and provide information for the visitors on the evening
Gather email addresses and info from audience members for future events
Assist the venues, artists and festival organisers on the evening
Capture the festival vibe & assist with photography & filming (let us know if this is something you are specifically interested in)
And most of all keep the party going!
**Please note a geographical understanding on the Northern Quarter and venues would be desirable**
If you are interested then join us on Tuesday 13th May from 6pm at Manchester Craft & Design Centre, for a full briefing of the events and your roles on the night.
To become an NQAD Volunteer & confirm your attendance email: nqafterdark@gmail.com by midnight on Monday 12th May.
We look forward to you joining the NQAD team!
