NORTHERN QUARTER AFTER DARK : May 15, 2014.
NQ After Dark – Unit X @ Federation House
Manchester School of Art’s Unit ‘x’ exhibitions are a celebration of the creative talent and dynamic energy that Manchester is so well known for.
Students have worked in partnership with staff and partner organisations to create a range of creative and exciting art installations, exhibitions, films, designs and projections in new and unusual locations.
Unit ‘X’ is an innovative way of teaching, bringing students from different disciplines together to work with museums, galleries, companies, public sector, communities and creative professionals.
This exhibition is on the top floor of the new arts space at Federation House and is part of an ongoing relationship with Castlefield Gallery to bridge the gap between students and professional practitioners.
The quality, range and diversity of the work on display is ample evidence of the city’s continuing vibrant, creative pulse.
