Manchester Craft Meet Up
Networking event, Tuesday 7 July, 6-8pm
Are you looking to meet your creative match? Want to find out more about our Makers? Then step out of your studios and into our creative community at our summer networking event.
Join us from 6-8 at Manchester Craft & Design Centre for an evening of networking, advice surgeries and idea-sharing along with a chance to see some of our Resident Makers’ newest collections.
We’ll also be joined by a selection of Crafts Council’s Hothouse 5 makers and advocates who can tell you more about applying for Hothouse 6.
There will be an opportunity to sign up to one-to-one advice surgeries at the beginning of the evening. Advice surgeries will be lead by our makers and team along with support from the North West Craft Network. A list of surgery advisors will be send out prior to the event, but if there’s something you’re desperate to know or talk about on the evening, do let us know in advance.
Is this event for me?
We welcome craft & design makers at all stages of their career to this event. Making can sometimes be a lonely place… This is an ideal opportunity to meet other makers, share ideas, and come away with some new contacts, connections and potential collaborators.
Also if you’re within the first three years of setting up and interested in applying to the Hothouse 6 programme, come along to find out more.
This event is free but there are limited tickets. Refreshments will be served (at a small charge). Tickets are essential – please book ASAP to avoid disappointment on the day.
