Make a Doll with Studio NL
Saturday 16th July, 12 noon – 3pm
Join Studio NL for their popular M A D craft workshop. M A D stands for MAKE A DOLL and they’ve been teaching these workshops for the past three years all over the UK.
This is a step-by-step work shop for both beginners and experienced makers.
Since Studio NL started up our doll making business in 2012, their making process has changed and they want to share what they’ve learnt with you. This is also a great opportunity to meet their small team and see how they do their craft in a friendly and relaxed environment.
On the day you will use pre-exposed screens and print characters from their current collections, you may choose from a wonderful selection of backing fabrics and you’ll learn basic screen printing skills. You’ll then use a sewing machine to sew your doll and learn how to hand sew an invisible ladder stitch to finish.
All equipment will be provided.
