MadLab – Bird Taxidermy Workshop
11am – 5:00pm, Saturday and Sunday.
Taxidermy is the only way to spend forever with the ones you love.
In this two-day workshop for all levels of experience, you’ll learn to skin, preserve, stuff and position a bird. From the first incision in the paper-thin skin to wiring up the wings, you’ll learn step-by-step and have a lovely specimen to take home, mount and display.
Your Tutor: Shannon Harmon
Shannon teaches taxidermy regularly in London for the Last Tuesday Society and blogs about her experiences at ofcorpsetaxidermy.wordpress.com. She also creates and sells bird wing fascinators and anthropomorphic animals as Of Corpse Taxidermy and Couture.
Please note this course will take place at MadLab
