WORKSHOP : June 21, 2019.
Brush Calligraphy Workshop
Time: 2.30 – 4.30
Exploring the magic of fabulously creative brush lettering pens with modern calligrapher Claire Gould!
There’s something very accessible about brush pen calligraphy and brush lettering – part of the fun is colour blending – I’ll show you how to paint simple words in sunset colours!
You’ll have a selection of brush lettering pens to use on the day – bring a friend and you can swap your pens during the class for more variation in your lettering!
(It’s a very relaxed and friendly class: even if you don’t come along with a friend, you’ll be sat next to someone lovely and you’re bound to make a new friend or two on the day!)
On the day we’ll write –
- Alphabet sample sheets
- Beautifully blended, colourful words
- A quote or motivational print for you to frame at home
There’ll be a little pop-up shop at the end so you can buy colourful inks, spare nibs and penholders, books and more worksheets if you like.
Class sizes are limited so everyone has some personal tuition – and no matter what your skill level (we all learn at different speeds) I will help you along the way!
