Crafts Council’s Hothouse participants announced
The Crafts Council has selected 35 maker businesses to take part in the 2017 Hothouse programme, delivered in partnership with a range of organisations across the UK, including Manchester Craft & Design Centre.
The list includes ceramicist Verity Howard, winner of our 2015 MMU Graduate Award and glassmaker Harry Morgan, whose work is currently on display here at Manchester Craft & Design Centre as part of our Heated Exchanges exhibition.
As the Crafts Council’s creative and business development programme for up-and-coming makers; over the last five years Hothouse has established itself as a gold-standard professional development programme, equipping over 200 participants with the business and creative skills needed to run a successful and sustainable craft business.
