Manchester Craft and Design Centre are looking for creative business coaches to help support 25 of our Makers.
Our creative makers have successful processes and practices for trading within the craft centre but have all faced massive change over the past year during closures and moving to online trading. They are all mainly mid-career sole traders in craft and design. We’re looking for coaches who have experience working with creatives and micro-businesses in the cultural/ arts sector to provide each Maker with two hours of coaching.
We have a total of £5000 budgeted, £100 per session, with each maker receiving two hour- long sessions. From this application process, we intend to award a number of suppliers for the project with the budget split across the number of awarded coaches. If you are applying on behalf of a group and would like to apply for the full please let us know in your application.
How to Apply
Please provide a summary (no more than 250 words), of your coaching area of expertise, your relevance to this project and our makers and your coaching experience to firstname.lastname@example.org by 10am Wednesday 19th May. Video applications will also be accepted.
Sessions can take place at Manchester Craft and Design Centre, or be held online
Contracts will be awarded based on suitability to the project. If applications do not comply with the budgeted they will not be considered
The needs of the maker should dictate the information provided during the sessions, but there should always be actionable outcomes for the maker.
Once the selection has been made, coaches will be given one month within which to schedule and invoice for coaching. Our funding deadline is 30/6/21.
Each supplier should provide a brief description of their key experience and skills, and makers will choose their own supplier.
