Resources, Opportunities & Creative Community
The Manchester Craft & Design Network is a growing collection of makers, designers and creatives of all sorts from Manchester and beyond. There are various ways to get involved:
Join our online community of makers – a place to network with other creatives, find potential collaborators, share ideas and ask for/offer advice.
Read the network blog covering topics ranging from photographing your work to achieving the perfect work-life balance. Want to contribute an article? Get in touch (details below).
Subscribe to the network newsletter and get:
- Early access to tickets for our creative business development workshops. Often delivered in partnership with other arts organisations, these sessions cover things like product photography, marketing and financial planning.
- Information about forthcoming Maker Meet Up events.
- News of studio opportunities here at the Centre.
- News of other relevant opportunities for makers.
Come along to our bi-annual ‘Maker Meet Up‘ events which provide the opportunity to meet and network with other makers, share ideas, and hopefully come away with some new contacts, connections and potential collaborators. If we have an upcoming event, you’ll find details here. Otherwise, sign up to the network newsletter to hear about future dates (see above).
Our aim is to develop this network into a vital tool for regional and national creatives. We’d love to hear from you about the sorts of things you would find useful, or if you’d like to contribute to the blog.
