Since completing a Diploma in Ceramic Design & Technology, followed by a BA Hons in 3D Design specialising in Ceramics, Lee has continued to develop & refine his range of ceramics, experimenting in both functional & more sculptural forms. Lee set up his studio at Manchester Craft and Design Centre in 2000, where he now shares a studio with jeweller Colette Hazelwood. He divides his time between teaching ceramics & producing his range of sculptural forms, alongside more functional pieces, tiles & wall hangings.

Lee is currently developing new work, incorporating relief surfaces and using underglaze colours & pencils with a more hands-on approach & a more figurative subject matter.
