Studio No(s): 1

Amy designs and makes contemporary jewellery, of which she has developed a number of collections. She predominantly works in silver but often combines it with lace, silk, ribbon and bows.

She loves the opulence and lavish style of Art Deco and incorporates this into her work. This is evident in the Ribbon Collection where she uses silver to create smooth, clean curves and the ribbon to provide folds.

Amy has been designing jewellery since graduating with First Class Honours at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2004. She now shares a studio with two other makers at Manchester Craft & Design Centre.

On top of all this, Amy also makes puppets for film and TV such as Tim Burtons film "The Corpse Bride" and childrens animation "Rupert The Bear", "Fifi" and "Rory Race Car".
