HAND CRAFT: Work in Progress

With just one week to go until the launch of HAND CRAFT, 49 artists, makers and designers are adding the finishing touches to the individual panels which will make up a large-scale mural at Manchester Craft & Design Centre. Collage, textiles, glass, ceramics, wood, illustration and painting all feature across the panels and reflect the diversity of creativity in our Centre. In short, we can’t wait to share the finished exhibition with you.

To whet your appetite we’ve collated some of the images of HAND CRAFT works in progress by our resident artists below. The final installation, and the HAND.01 table behind the project, will be previewed during our launch event on Thursday 8th September, 6-8pm – we hope to see you there!
