Lets get Pewtering!
Design and create your own unique keyring, hanging decoration or jewellery charm in this one day Pewter Cuttlefish Casting Workshop with Ella, Manchester Craft and Design Centres resident Pewtersmith.
During the day Ella will guide you through various age old metalwork techniques so you can create a mould using Cuttlefish, cast with molten Pewter then finish your design before taking it home to admire. You will not only leave with the finished item but a collection of new skills, handy hints and tips you can use if you want to continue making at home.
Ella will provide inspiration on the day to design your final mould or you can bring some along. A perfect opportunity to start a new hobby, enjoy a day of creativity or explore a different material.
Pewter is a lead free malleable metal which doesn’t tarnish.
All materials included, tea & coffee provided.
