Did You Know… &made founder Andrea trained as a model animator at Cosgrove Hall films working on such classic productions as ‘Chorlton & the Wheelies’ & ‘Wind in the Willows’. After a brief, but enjoyable period working in computer games, Andrea returned to Cosgrove Hall as costume maker for Postman Pat & Rupert Bear, where she achieved a career highlight when nominated for best costume design in the Royal Television Society Craft Awards before launching &made in 2009.
She is currently involved with the Crafternoon Tea Workshop programme at Whitworth Art Gallery in Manchester, appears at a number of contemporary craft shows throughout the year & supplies a number of galleries with &made products. Andrea still manages to squeeze in the occasional freelance design job!
